Fool if You Think it's Over
Listen to Sins of Red part 9 and 10, read by me. Plus reflections on the story. Rosie’s choices reflect that early kind of heartbreak — the kind you mistake for fate.

This reflective post looks back at what’s happened recently in Sins of Red, and forward to the next two episodes.
An old song by a very young Chris Rea gave me the title for this article. It mentions the pains of young love.
Reflection on the story
We recently learned that Rosie was not all sweetness and light. Well, her boss Jack obviously thought she tasted rather sweet, even if Rosie describes the act of him giving her pleasure as a selfless one.
I think we learn a lot about her there. She accepts Jack’s attention while still technically with Clive. So Rosie isn’t behaving well, and many would say who can blame her? However, she’s not cold-hearted just wounded, and caught between the past and present desire - unsure of the rules now that love and hurt have blurred together.
This isn’t a woman who knows her own mind—not yet—but she accepts comfort from Jack without question. Making her life messy. But we’ve all been there…
Later, these same qualities—her openness to pleasure, even while still emotionally entangled—lead her to make a serious decision about her sex life.
