Your story really made me tear up. 😢 It’s remarkable how, even in times of war, people can find love in someone who’s supposed to be the “enemy.” Maybe it’s because war strips everything away (our beliefs, our masks) until only the human remains. People are not made for hate. I think that we will always try to reach for something real.. something alive.. Love. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, heartbreaking story, May! ❤️❤️

TY Noor there is a whole story around that story lol it was for the final of the marathon and i had been working and wrote it 500 words over by accident and sent it in with only one hr till deadline! Thank goodness for your mum sending it back promptly! i have never chopped a story so quickly :-D
