Reflections

Clive is an example of what some would call a tragic villain: A character who becomes ‘bad’ due to circumstances. Which is why during the story, it’s possible to feel sympathy for him.

As a writer, it’s a real joy to create someone as complex as Clive. He is the serial’s gravity, not Rosie. She is just a vehicle to tell his story.

Although when I started writing I didn’t know that. but during the process Clive took my hand and in doing, so I came to like him and so wanted to make sure the readers did too…
